Colorado Governor Proclaims a Meat Out Day and the Citizens Decide Its Meat In Day

Colorado Governor Jared Polis’s full proclamation:

WHEREAS, removing animal products from our diets reduces the risk of various ailments, including heart disease, high-blood pressure, stroke, various cancers, and diabetes; and(BS)

"WHEREAS, a plant-based diet helps protect the environment by reducing our carbon footprint, preserving forests, grasslands and wildlife habitats, and reduces pollution of waterways; and(BS)

"WHEREAS, a growing number of people are reducing their meat consumption to help prevent animal cruelty; and(BS)

"WHEREAS, since MeatOut was launched in 1985, more than 35 million Americans have explored a plant-based diet and reduced their consumption of meat, dairy, and eggs; and major food manufacturers and national franchises are marketing more vegan options in response to this growing demand;

"WHEREAS, Colorado is the proud home to farmers and ranchers alike and we recognize the importance of agriculture in the state; THEREFORE I, Jared Polis, Governor of the State of Colorado, do hereby proclaim March 20, 2021, as MEATOUT DAY."

Here ye, here ye, the Governor of Colorado has issued a proclamation, filled with a bunch of, where as’s, lies and nonsense. I imagine he walked out on his balcony and read it to the peasants from a scroll, pretending like he’s in some sort of fairy tale.

Agricultural communities across Colorado have responded the way Americans should whenever they are told what to do by Politicians who like to pretend they are Kings. They are doing the opposite and hosting Meat In days all across the state to promote eating beef.

Below Colorado Rancher Shad Sullivan explains the history behind the Governor’s ignorance and thanks the Governor for creating a great promotion for the beef industry:
