In October of 2017 I got the wild hair to start this website hoping it would turn into something. I wasn’t sure what, I just thought I’d see if I could do it, and see where it took me. The last six years have been a wild ride, and I think this thing has definitely turned into something. I am not sure what… but something.
I have thought a lot about how to make this work, while preserving two goals, 1. To always have the site be free, and 2. Never be beholden to advertisers. So here’s what I came up with. If you find that the work we do here is valuable, and would like it to continue I simply ask that you subscribe. Since I feel that the work done here is important, and I want everyone to be able to read it, all content on the site will remain free. A subscription is just a way for you to pay for the work, and to insure it continues. Where I come from, a lot of deals still get done with handshakes. I trust that if you value the work done here, you will pay for it, if you are able. I am hoping that the last six years of work that I have done has earned your trust. I am extending my hand, hoping that together we can work on preserving this life that we love so much.
